SECTION/RULE §87.81 - Creation of the Program and Populations Served

(a) The IDDO program is established by Texas Government Code §531.9912 in accordance with Texas Government Code §531.9934. (b) IDDO serves as an impartial party to assist individuals with IDD, their LARs, their program providers, and LIDDAs as they navigate and resolve complaints or grievances regarding infringement of the rights of a person with an intellectual disability or delivery of intellectual disability services. This in accordance with Texas Health and Safety Code §592.039.
