(a) Under an individual plan, a single service HMO may not limit or otherwise interfere with an enrollee's right to terminate his or her membership in the plan before the end of the enrollment year.(b) A single service HMO may not limit coverage for emergency services under a single health care service plan.(c) A single service HMO may not charge an emergency fee in addition to a copayment for emergency services.
