(a) Financial requirements. An HMO that issues a point-of-service rider is subject to the requirements of Insurance Code §843.403 (concerning Minimum Net Worth) and §7.402 of this title (relating to Risk-Based Capital and Surplus Requirements for Insurers and HMOs).(b) Termination, cancellation, and renewability. An HMO must comply with all state and federal laws and rules applicable to termination, cancellation, and renewability of a point-of-service rider plan.
