SECTION/RULE §15.107 - Requests for Information

(a) In addition to those documents required to be filed under §15.106 and §15.301 of this title, the stamping office may request a surplus lines agent to submit additional information necessary to evaluate the eligibility of surplus lines policies, contracts, or other detailed evidence of coverage.(b) The stamping office must issue a written report to TDI if the requested additional information is not timely submitted by the surplus lines agent.(c) The stamping office and the surplus lines agent may mutually agree for a representative of the stamping office to review the requested information at the surplus lines agent's place of business.(d) Nothing in this section limits TDI's ability to require the surplus lines agent to submit information or reports as required by the Insurance Code and this chapter.
