SECTION/RULE §21.151 - Purpose and Scope

(a) The purpose of this division is to establish advertising requirements necessary to assure that the public receives truthful and adequate information to facilitate informed purchasing decisions concerning discount health care programs.(b) A discount health care program operator, including the operator of a freestanding discount health care program or a discount health care program operated and marketed by an insurer or a health maintenance organization, shall comply with this division.
