SECTION/RULE §26.421 - Election to Permit Single-Employee Businesses to Participate in a Health Group Cooperative

A health group cooperative that elects to admit eligible single-employee businesses must file an election with TDI at least 90 days before the date coverage becomes effective for single-employee business members. The election filing must contain:(1) the election date;(2) the results of the election;(3) that the cooperative has a written agreement with a small or large employer health benefit plan issuer; and(4) a signature by an authorized officer of the cooperative.
