SECTION/RULE §4.617 - Preliminary Term Life Insurance

The following requirements apply to a contract of life insurance containing a preliminary term insurance rider:(1) a grace period must be allowed for payment of the first premium due on the principal policy; and(2) the date of commencement of the preliminary term insurance, which is the date of inception of the contract as a whole, must be used to measure the period of contestability and suicide.
