(a) Items submitted under this section must be submitted in writing to the chief clerk, Texas Department of Insurance. They may be:(1) hand delivered;(2) mailed; or(3) sent in a manner that is otherwise acceptable to the department.(b) The date of the item will be the date the department receives the item.(c) When a party submits a request to the commissioner or the department under this section, the party must provide a copy of the request to the other party at the same time.
