(a) This subchapter implements Insurance Code Chapter 493.(b) This subchapter applies to all insurers engaged in the business of ceding and assuming insurance in this state.(c) This subchapter does not apply to the reinsurance of all or part of the liability of a policy of title insurance, except as provided under Insurance Code §2551.3055.
