SECTION/RULE §53.64 - Nonpayment of Compensation Based on Another Carrier's Liability

(a) When the carrier fails or refuses to initiate, or suspends, payment of income or medical benefits based on evidence that another carrier is liable for the claimant's disability, the carrier or the claimant's attorney, if any, shall immediately request a formal hearing before the board.(b) The claim will be set for a hearing on the board's next available formal hearing docket.
