The board considers "loss of an eye" when loss of vision reached 90%. Permanent partial loss of vision in an eye will be calculated on the actual loss of vision as a result of an injury, and not on loss of vision after restoration of vision by proper fitting glasses. The following table for the estimate of compensation to be paid workers who have suffered partial or complete loss of vision in one eye, through accident or occupation, is adopted by the board (1961) (Rev. 1973).
