SECTION/RULE §251.306 - Effect of Sick Leave

Should the employee qualify for weekly compensation, he or she may elect to utilize sick leave before receiving weekly payments of compensation. If the employee elects to utilize sick leave, the employee is not entitled to weekly payments of compensation under Texas workers' compensation statutes until sick leave is exhausted.
