You must renew a lapsed operator qualification by one of the two methods specified in paragraphs (1) and (2) of this section.(1) For a lapse of less than 3 years, you must complete a standard annual refresher course described in §113.2310 of this title (relating to How do I maintain my operator qualification?).(2) For a lapse of 3 years or more, you must repeat the initial qualification requirements in §113.2309(a) of this title (relating to How do I obtain my operator qualification?).
