SECTION/RULE §115.244 - Inspection Requirements

The owner or operator of any gasoline dispensing facility subject to the control requirements of this division shall conduct daily inspections of the Stage II vapor recovery system for the defects specified in §115.242(d)(3) and (4) of this title (relating to Control Requirements) as follows.(1) For all systems, the daily inspections must include the applicable portions of §115.242(d)(3)(A) - (F), (H), and (K), and (4) of this title.(2) For assist systems that use a processor, indicating mechanisms designed by the Stage II vapor recovery equipment manufacturer to verify proper operation must be inspected daily. Examples of these indicating mechanisms include flame detection sensors, remote (from the processor) visual or audible displays indicating system operation, or other means as described in the applicable Executive Order for the system.(3) For all systems, the components listed in §115.242(d)(3)(J) of this title must be inspected at least monthly.(4) For all systems, the components listed in §115.242(d)(3)(G) of this title must be inspected at least annually.
