SECTION/RULE §217.160 - Operability and Maintenance Requirements

(a) All equipment must either be able to operate at the temperature extremes of the wastewater treatment facility location, or must be located in a temperature controlled enclosure.(b) All equipment must be accessible for inspection, maintenance, and operation.(c) An enclosure that houses equipment must have sufficient clearance and working room to safely remove and reinstall equipment. The enclosure must be accessible to portable lifting devices or must be equipped with overhead lifting eyes, hoists, trolleys, or cranes to facilitate the safe removal of equipment.
