SECTION/RULE §281.1 - Purpose

It is the intent of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to establish a general policy for the processing of applications for permits, licenses and other types of approvals in order to achieve the greatest efficiency and effectiveness possible. To this end, it is the policy of the commission that applications for permits, licenses, and other types of approvals listed in §281.2 of this title (relating to Applicability) be processed by the executive director according to the schedule established in this chapter.
