SECTION/RULE §294.32 - Designation of Dallam County Priority Groundwater Management Area

(a) An area of Dallam County, as described in this section, is designated as a Priority Groundwater Management Area. (b) The Dallam County Priority Groundwater Management Area is composed of Dallam County except for the area within the Dallam County Underground Water Conservation District Number 1, which is excluded from the Priority Groundwater Management Area. (c) A General Description of Boundaries of Dallam County Priority Groundwater Management Area is as follows: (1) starting at the northeastern corner of Dallam County, the eastern boundary is coterminous with the Dallam County - Sherman County Line; then (2) the boundary continues west along the Dallam-Hartley County Line to the border between Texas and New Mexico; then (3) north along the western Dallam County - New Mexico state line to the northwest corner of Dallam County; then (4) the boundary turns eastward along the Dallam County-Oklahoma state line to the junction with the boundary of the Dallam County Underground Water Conservation District Number 1; then (5) the boundary follows the district boundary until it again intersects with the Dallam County-Oklahoma State line; then (6) the boundary continues east to the northeast corner of Dallam County. (d) The boundaries of the Dallam County Priority Groundwater Management Area and outlined in the map attached as Exhibit A to this section. Attached Graphic
