(a) A provisional license for a Class D license may be issued to an individual that does not possess a high school diploma or equivalent who:(1) has completed the required training;(2) passed the applicable examination; and(3) acts under the direct supervision of a license holder.(b) A provisional license shall have:(1) a validity period of two years; and(2) an application fee of $74.00.(c) Provisional licenses are not renewable and not reobtainable.(d) To continue to work as a licensed operator, the provisional license holder must, before the expiration date of the provisional license:(1) submit proof of a high school diploma or equivalent; and(2) apply for a Class D license or higher.
