SECTION/RULE §330.233 - Control of Windblown Material and Litter

(a) Windblown material and litter shall be collected as necessary, at least once per day on days that the facility is in operation, to minimize unhealthy, unsafe, or unsightly conditions.(1) A portable fence may be employed to confine windblown material resulting from unloading. If a portable fence is not practical, other suitable practices shall be employed to control windblown material.(2) Litter scattered throughout the facility, along fences and access roads, and at the gate must be picked up once a day on the days the facility is in operation and properly managed.(b) If a facility is not completely enclosed, the owner or operator shall provide a wire or other type fencing or screening when necessary to minimize windblown materials.
