SECTION/RULE §1.200 - Scope and Purpose

This subchapter identifies advisory committees created by or under statute to advise the Texas Department of Agriculture and, in accordance with the provisions of the Texas Government Code, Chapter 2110 (Vernon Supp. 2000), prescribes the purposes and duties of such committees, and the expiration date of each committee. Unless otherwise provided for a specific committee, the manner in which each continuing committee will report to the agency is by the preparation and submission of committee minutes to the department. In addition, the commissioner may request that a committee prepare and submit a report of committee activities.
