SECTION/RULE §1.802 - Eligibility

Subject to available funds, a public elementary or middle school from an urban public school district in the state, or a nonprofit organization that partners with an eligible school, is eligible to receive a grant under this subchapter if the school or nonprofit organization submits to the department a proposal that includes:(1) a description of the proposed project;(2) a schedule of projected costs for the project;(3) a statement of the educational benefits of the project, including how the project will improve the students' understanding of agriculture; and(4) if a nonprofit organization is applying for the grant, a statement from the school that the nonprofit organization is partnering with the school.
