SECTION/RULE §10.53 - Handling of Crop Prior to Inspection

(a) Fees. The annual inspection fee, as shown in Table 1 of §10.13 of this title (relating to Acreage Inspection Fees for Certification), is required to be paid.(b) Applications. All applications for annual inspection must be filed with the Seed Quality Program no later than 30 days after planting.(c) Licenses. All applicants must be a Certified Seed Grower and possess the proper license under the Chapter 62 of Texas Agriculture Code.(d) Varieties. Only varieties of industrial hemp approved by the Texas Department of Agriculture Certification Program and the Texas Department of Agriculture Hemp Program and are eligible for certification.
