SECTION/RULE §26.52 - Statement of Purpose

The program is designed to award grants:(1) to organizations that participate in:(A) the Child and Adult Care Food Program as administered by the department;(B) the Head Start Program; or(C) other early childhood education programs; and(D) will use awarded funds to provide nutrition education to children between the ages of three and five years old; and(2) to community and faith based initiatives:(A) that provide recreational, social, volunteer, leadership, mentoring, or developmental programs; and(B) will use awarded funds to provide nutrition education to children younger than nineteen years old.
