SECTION/RULE §26.53 - Eligibility

To be eligible to receive awarded funds under the program, an applicant must be in good standing with the department and must:(1) be an organization that participates in:(A) the Child and Adult Care Food Program as administered by the Department;(B) the Head Start Program; or(C) another early childhood education program; and(D) certifies that it will use the awarded funds to provide nutrition education to children between the ages of three and five years old; or(2) be a community or faith-based initiative:(A) that provides recreational, social, volunteer, leadership, mentoring, or developmental programs; and(B) certifies that it will use awarded funds to provide nutrition education to children younger than nineteen years old.
