SECTION/RULE §27.207 - Zone Activation; Producer Approval

(a) Once a pest management zone has been designated by adoption of a rule subject to the authority of §80.005 of the Code, the pest management zone is not established until approved by a referendum of citrus producers in the new zone and held in accordance with §80.006 of the Code.(b) Once a pest management zone has been designated by rule and established by approval of citrus producers in the zone, as provided in subsection (a) of this section, the zone shall operate in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 80 of the Code.
