SECTION/RULE §28.53 - Eligibility

A person is eligible to receive a Young Farmer Grant if:(1) on the date the grant application is due the applicant is 18 years of age or older but younger than 46 years of age;(2) the applicant is or will be involved in creating or expanding an agricultural business in this state;(3) the applicant agrees to provide matching fund documentation; and(4) the applicant agrees to use funds for the purpose of either creating or expanding an agricultural business in this state.
