(a) In attempting to collect money due on a loan or to take possession of any property securing a loan, a licensee or the licensee's agent must not use any means other than appeals to reason or lawful remedies authorized under the laws of this state. The licensee is also bound by the remedies prescribed in any instrument securing the loan.(b) A licensee or the licensee's agent must not use any physical force or violence against any person or use any physical force or violence against any property.
